Weekend Update
Not really much to report from the weekend – shocking isn’t it? I mostly stayed around the house watching the “Deadliest Catch” marathon on the Discovery Channel. The new season starts Tuesday night and I’m so excited. I’m hoping my man Blake Painter from the Maverick will be back this season.
I walked in the MS Walk this weekend to raise money for the MS Society. As many of you know, my mom has had MS for 16 years now. Jackie came out and walked with me and my dad. We had a good time and Jackie even convinced us to do a little bit of jogging. Jackie is running a half-marathon next weekend. She’s been training for a while now and I know she’s going to do great! So far we’ve raised about $300 for the MS Society, which is far short of our goal, but every little bit helps and we still have money coming in.
I wish I had something more exciting to write about, but things were rather quiet this weekend, which is always nice. The weekends are never long enough, are they? Hope everyone is having a happy Monday!

My weekend was pretty decent. Even though my hockey team lost Sunday evening we still had a good time yelling at the blind referees. Hopefully tonights game is better.

Thanks for the uplifting compliment about the marathon! By the way I loved the fact that your dad couldn't run with out holding his pants up for fear of the them falling. I thought the MS walk was great!

I just heard of the show the Deadliest Catch. I have not watched it yet.
That is great you raised the money you did -- as you stated, every little bit helps! Congrats!

Who's your team? Mine is the Flyers. They haven't faired so well this season.

It was funny that my dad's pants kept falling down! He's hilarious! At least they didn't fall completely off! I know you'll do great in the marathon. I'm going to try my best to make plans to be there, provided I can make arrangements for "The Tide." Like you said, if that 101 year-old man can do it, so can you!

Deadliest Catch is a GREAT show! No matter how many times I've seen an episode, I'll watch it again if it's on. Like I mentioned, the new season starts on Tuesday night. You should definitely check it out. It's very thrilling and will get your adrenaline pumping!

I like to support my west coast teams like San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings. Last nights game was the Fresno Falcons (ECHL) they're in the playoffs. The Utah Grizzlies beat the snot out of us so game two is tonight and I'll be there drinking my bottled water and yelling at the bad play calling from the refs.....good times :)
